Two decades after the first cholesterol-lowering drug known as a statin hit the market, a major new study is poised to reshape the landscape for the world's best-selling class of medicines.Results of the trial, featuring AstraZeneca PLC's statin Crestor, will be presented next Sunday in New Orleans at the American Heart Association's annual scientific meeting.
